Along the road

life all around

fumbling with small stones

resting in pocket

fog horn blows

wind throws mist

little daggers hit skin

summer sinks back

winter's revenge rules the day

Teardrop

a teardrop fell from the sky

with it 

came rainbows 

and imagery of you and I

Lullaby

you waved

from a distance

your hand fading with the light

like a lullaby floating off to sea

Alone

Shes leaves her seat

in a booth by the window

to make room for the family

She sits alone

at a table and listens to the music
